Bruce is the founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TSX and NYSE-listed Canopy Growth and co-founder of Tweed Marijuana Incorporated. After beginning his career at Newbridge Networks Corporation, Bruce has since held positions that include General Manager and Re-Founder of Computerland.ca, President and Co-Founder of webHancer Corp, and part of the establishing team at CrossKeys Systems Corporation. He was also part of the leadership team for the NASDAQ/TSX initial public offering at CrossKeys.

Prior to joining XIB, Sean worked at one of Canada’s most successful event-driven hedge funds, MM Asset Management (“MMAM”). At MMAM, he was part of a 5-person investment team responsible for managing a ~$200mm investment portfolio, with a global and event-driven mandate that included significant exposure to the emerging global cannabis industry.
Before joining MMAM, Sean worked on the institutional equity sales desk at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (“CIBC”) where he was responsible for managing the firm’s relationship with Canadian, US, and International hedge fund clients. Prior to joining the equity sales team at CIBC, Sean was part of the Mergers & Acquisitions investment banking team at CIBC where he accumulated over $3 billion in direct financial advisory experience.
Sean is a CFA Charter holder and was Valedictorian of his graduating class at the University of New Brunswick where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Finance and Human Resource Management.

Prior to joining XIB, Peter worked on the institutional equity sales desk at CIBC, where he was responsible for covering global hedge fund clients. With a specialty in M&A, Peter focused on evaluating and assessing global merger arbitrage opportunities.
Preceding his role on the institutional equity sales team, Peter worked within the leading Canadian mergers and acquisitions investment banking group at CIBC where he advised on over $26 billion in M&A mandates across a variety of transaction structures in multiple jurisdictions and industries.
Before joining CIBC, Peter worked with Deloitte in both audit and financial advisory capacities. Peter graduated Magna Cum Laude from the York University Schulich School of Business, where he received the Overall Excellence Award majoring in Finance and Accounting.

Prior to joining Canopy Rivers, Eddie was a Vice President in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at TD Securities. His team provided sell-side and buy-side M&A advisory services to large and mid-cap Canadian companies. During his time at TD, Eddie worked on several transformative transactions in the telecommunications, media, and real estate industries.
Eddie began his career at Deloitte LLP where he became a Senior Manager in the firm's Financial Advisory practice. He advised domestic and international clients across a variety of industries on business valuation matters for transaction, tax, audit, accounting, litigation and other purposes. During his time at Deloitte, Eddie also helped execute the firm's global financial advisory strategy and completed a placement in London, England. Eddie holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Chartered Business Valuator.

Olivier was previously the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President, Continuous Improvement and Strategic Expansion for Canopy Growth. Prior to joining Canopy Growth, Olivier worked in various leadership and consulting roles in Asia, Europe, and North America at Michelin Tires and McKinsey & Company. Olivier received a degree in Electrical Engineering at McGill University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Prior to joining Canopy Rivers, Matthew was an associate at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP (Blakes), where he was an active member of the Blakes Cannabis group and regularly wrote and spoke on the latest developments in the industry. His practice at Blakes covered a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and corporate governance. He advised purchasers, vendors and targets on domestic and international transactions, and his experience includes acting for clients in a variety of sectors, including the private equity, financial services, cannabis, and manufacturing sectors. Prior to Blakes, Matthew clerked at the Ontario Court of Appeal for Chief Justice Warren Winkler and Justice Gloria Epstein. Matthew holds a B.A. (Hon.) in Political Science and Sociology from McGill University, an M.A. in Journalism from the University of Southern California, and a J.D. (Hon., Valedictorian) from the University of Toronto.

Prior to joining Canopy Rivers, Daniel was a Principal at Eight Capital and top equity research analyst covering the global cannabis sector. At the time of his departure, he was the longest tenured analyst covering the sector and held the largest coverage universe. He is also the author of 'The Value Case For Investing In The Cannabis Sector'. Prior to Eight Capital, Daniel held an equity research analyst role at a boutique investment bank and established the firm's healthcare research practice focusing on small cap Canadian clinical- and revenue-stage biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device companies.
Before joining the sell side, he held analyst roles at a North American healthcare venture capital firm, a medical device startup, and a technology transfer incubator analyzing and reviewing opportunities in the life sciences sector. Daniel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the University of Western Ontario and a Master's Degree in Management from the University of Toronto.

Prior to joining Canopy Rivers, Narbe was a Senior Associate at OMERS Ventures, one of the most prominent technology venture capital funds in Canada. During his tenure, Narbe helped fundraise for two funds ($520M of capital), sourced and lead multiple debt/equity financings, and acted as a Board Observer for a number of portfolio companies. Prior to OMERS Ventures, Narbe was a Senior Strategy Manager in TELUS’ Internet of Things (IoT) group where he helped launch operational go-to-market strategies to TELUS’ executive leadership team. Prior to TELUS, he held roles at Firmex Inc., a leading virtual data room company based in Toronto, and Deloitte LLP, where he held roles in Financial Advisory and Consulting (fka Monitor Deloitte). Narbe is currently a Sessional Instructor at the Schulich School of Business, teaching technology entrepreneurship and venture capital within the undergraduate and MBA programs. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.

Prior to joining Canopy Rivers, James was an Assistant Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He was the product controller for the fixed income, currency, and commodities business responsible for performing forecasts and detailed analysis for senior management and managing internal, external, and regulatory requirements.
James began his career at KPMG LLP working as a senior accountant in the Consumer Industrial Markets group. He was responsible for leading engagement teams on the planning and execution of multinational audits for both private and public clients. James holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA Canada).
